I would say, don't give up. Pace yourself in a manner that is comfortable to you and it doesn't matter how long it takes because at the end of the day, the only person whose opinion matters is your own. If you love what you write, others will love it too.

I keep an assortment of notebooks and pens on hand always. You never know when the inspiration will strike, either for an in-progress piece or a brand-new story. Working on multiple series simultaneously helps too, as it grants the ability to jump from one world to another whenever I'm just plain not feeling it.

I am currently working on the second, third, and fourth books in the Chronicles of the Chosen series, books 1, 2, and 3 in my new Inland Sea series, and books 1 through 6 of the Jen Rice series, the first three of which had been formerly released under the pseudonym Cheyenne Moon.
