I have been writing since I was a little girl and I just have a vivid imagination. I start washing dishes and I think of what can happen in a book so I turn the computer on, dictate what I think by then the dish water has gotten cold. My parents never put me down about my love of writing and they encouraged me to keep going.
Ultimately I think I get inspired most by whatever is going on in my head. Am I sad, happy, wanting to become the pilot who save the day? It just comes to me and I can't resist writing.

I do not really experience writer's book. My problem is that when I am working on one story I get other ideas for other stories and I start writing them without finishing the one I was working on at the time. I think that is a lack of focus and too much daydreaming on my part.

You can be whatever you want in a book, travel the world and see all sorts of things. Best part is, as a writer you can survive any monster without getting hurt in your real world.

The idea for Shined Boots and Murder, my recent release, came from my desire to have something of my own, like a cafe or tea shop. I know I cannot do that so I let my character do it. The murder mystery is because I always loved reading mysteries and I missed writing them so I let my mind go with it.

Oh gosh, that is so hard. I would love to find real love in a peaceful place but I would love to travel through time too. I'm not sure I can pick just one but...maybe Killer Cupcakes so I can have a cafe--a tea shop for me and I can serve British tea like my mom and I had when off to Canada. Knowing me I would want to solve the murder but who would want a murder in the cafe they own? That sounds messy...very messy ;).
What about you? Love, murder, space life or something different?

I want to read Raining Men and Corpses by Ann R, Tan. I haven't read a book by her yet but I want to see what this is about.
Also:
Cream Puff Murder, Her Best Friend's Keeper which I did finish recently so next on the list is probably any cozy mystery newly added to my Kindle if I don't keep finding new books to add to my want to read next list. Ooh, I did read The Book Club Murder by April Fernsby so I just might see what else happens for the psychic in that series as I think I have only read three or four of them.
What abot you? Any new or old reads to check out to read before the year ends?
