It came from two distinct places, I suppose, when coming up with A Con Affair.
Firstly, I was setting myself a personal writing challenge for a bit of fun, and wanted to see if I could write erotica. Which, I think it's safe to say, I certainly can it turns out.
But I needed a setting, and so I went back to the age old maxim of 'write what you know', and I know comic cons, and what working in the comics industry can be like.
From there, the book evolved into more than just an erotica, and became a full blown rom com with serious looks at career dream chasing, anxiety and neurodivergency, love and romance in the age of hook up culture and a much more rounded approach. I'm honestly very proud with how it turned out.

Most of the time, I try to fix it by hitting the gym or doing an activity to get the blood flowing, but if those aren't working, I'll try and write something else, even just catching up on emails, in order to get my brain back into the mode of writing.

I'm currently working on several things, namely:-
-The next story arc of The Pride
-A YA romantic adventure book that is best described as "My Hero Academia meets Heartstopper"
-A novella that will start a series of quick, supernatural spicy adventures
-A romance that might just have connections to my first novel, A Con Affair
-and reseraching a few other things as well.
