Never give up. A rejection is just one voice and an acceptance might be coming. Titles are your first chance to hook a reader so make them good. If writing makes you happy then write. Use good criticism to grow but sometimes haters just want to hate so separate the two. Ask why do you want to write and remember that answer on the days you doubt yourself.

I write a monthly essay for two local magazines, so right now I am writing an essay about how to find help to become healthier when it is difficult for you to do it yourself. I am also working on two new books.

I listen and I watch what is happening around me, and I love talking with people. Many of my ideas come to me when I am out running, so I run in and write things down quickly on a whiteboard. Often something someone says, or a story I hear gives me ideas.
