D.J. Doyle OMG, I'm only seeing this question now. I grew up watching all different types of horror, from the Twilight Zone to Hellraiser - I look innocent, but I've a warped mind lol. Never judge a book by its cover! muhahaha
D.J. Doyle Thank you. I'm delighted to hear you like my books... there will be more in the future :-)
D.J. Doyle Thank you very much. I'm very happy to hear you like my books. :-)
D.J. Doyle Through the hot rising steam, he stared at the figure in front with bulging red eyes, pointy teeth covered in fresh blood, and cracked skin exposing a thick black liquid. He raised his hand and wiped the condensation from the mirror.
D.J. Doyle I have a lot to catch up on but will focus on a few zombie books. I've started Last Another Day (which I'm really enjoying) by Baileigh Higgins and have another 3 of her books in my library. That should keep me going for a while. I also have a couple of collections by Roma Gray to read... that's all I can fit in this summer.
D.J. Doyle Bert and Ernie!

Because they love each other.

Make sure you have an excellent editor/reviewer.
D.J. Doyle I leave my laptop alone until I get an urge to write or an idea pops into my head. There is nothing worse than sitting at a laptop and nothing happens. It's best to take a break whether it be a day, a week or longer. Ensure you feel refreshed when you start again.
D.J. Doyle I am currently writing about Newgrange (another heritage site). It is the oldest man-made structure in the world...older than the pyramids and is my favourite place to visit. While doing the tour, they told this feeble story saying the shape of the tomb was the first sign of Christianity which is BS...thousands of years before Jesus was born? I think not.
I believe it was used for sacrifice, and since it was the time of the Celtic pagans, it had to be human sacrifice.
D.J. Doyle My debut novel is based on the stories I heard as a child. We always told tales of the Banshee and how to make her appear. We would run home scared thinking the Banshee was chasing us. I wanted to put a new spin on a paranormal story using Irish folklore and a known heritage site.
