Rhi Etzweiler I am planning to pen a companion piece set in the same world, with many of the same characters. I'm waiting for the rights to revert to me first before I begin working on it. In addition, I've a couple other writing projects that I need to complete, before I can tackle this one and invest all my energy into it.
Currently, plans are for it to include: some expansion on the Feathers; Hamm and Marc's adopted child; and the child of Dehna and her partner, who was killed by the humans before the events of Fragile Bond.

Thanks for the interest!
Rhi Etzweiler I don't know that I would label it a series, but I do have another story planned out. It's not so much a sequel as a companion, since it won't be told from Black's point of view. It's more Red's story, although Black, Garthelle, and Blue are all present on the roster for appearances.
Currently, my plans are to get it written, or at least largely fleshed out, between now and the end of November, for Nanowrimo. I still have a good bit of prep work to get done before then, though. Mostly an event timeline and character details, for consistency's sake. It's been quite a while since I touched Black's world.
Rhi Etzweiler The limitless bounds of possibilities. I get to write all the stories that I've always wanted to read, but couldn't find. I get to explore the what-if's of a thousand different worlds, countless different personalities. This is where my love of speculative fiction comes into play, because I read articles about emerging tech, artificial intelligence, space travel...and I get to extrapolate humanity forward and consider the potential pitfalls and terror, as well as the insurmountable beauty, that would erupt. We humans are small beings with enormous egos, and that's one of the flaws that I enjoy poking at the most.
Being a writer lets me do all those things. Because yes, when it comes down to it, I really do write for my own enjoyment. I imbue my passion into every character I create and every word I set down on to paper or screen. I share them all for others to enjoy in kind, in hopes they glimpse the things the muses showed me, perhaps see things I didn't realize were even there.
For me, being a writer will always mean being an artist. Creating something from nothing is one of the greatest experiences, and I get the pleasure of sharing it with others.
Rhi Etzweiler I just finished writing a short story piece for a Military M/M anthology that Cat Grant is coordinating. The anthology is titled "Unconditional Surrender," and is due out around October 14th, just in time for GRL.
So currently I'm working on editing that piece, and poking at a few other full length projects that are in various states of disrepair and neglect.
