Sherlock Holmes and Irene Adler. A great literary couple? Certainly not. But the chemistry between the characters is immense and for the most part, unexplored. The fire ignited from finding an equal who is equally as damaged seems to touch me. Sherlock's great mind can't function around her. He stutters, he can't work, all he can think of is Irene. They both see each other as a challenge; something that can be fixed. They never blindly submit to love, which makes their story even more interesting.

That's an easy one. I think of my major scenes, major chapters, big reveals. Then I add music. I use music without words, just the scores if you will. Taylor Davis & Lindsey Stirling are among those I listen to when writing.
