I have experienced this block and what I do is watch a movie or a comedy and laugh and relax until my mind is serene and tranquil again. Somewhere along the line, my mind opens up and I know where to go. This works for me.

To me, the best thing about being a writer and author is sharing with people how they can live a victorious, over-coming, successful life. They can enjoy life. They can have lasting peace, joy and satisfaction knowing they have fulfilled their Divine purpose for being. When people tell me how my writings are having a positive effect upon them, it makes it worth the hours, days, weeks months and even years it took to write.

My first bit of advice is believe. Believe in your gift and ability to write and make a difference. Secondly, write and keep on writing. Do not procrastinate. I believe it will astound you what you are capable of doing if you only learn to take action and get your book done. Thirdly, make sure that once you have written your book, get it professionally edited. This is vital if you want others to enjoy it. And finally, realize that your book is just that, YOUR BOOK. So you will have to learn to market and share it with the world. Do not depend on just the publishing company. If you want it to succeed, you will have to be BOLD and share it with the world.
