David Carraturo I even had the Mets in the World Series.... But to be honest, I did a lot of economic and political research for Cameron Nation and this is the political world I dreamed of. Now, they have to execute.

Congrats on the launch. My copy is to be delivered this week, so looking forward to the read. I read the other two, so my question is where does this story fit in and why?

David Carraturo Thank you Craig. The Quest story is chronologically before Columbus Avenue Boys and Cameron Nation. Quest is 1983 - 1988 - the developmental late teen early twenty years where lots can happen in life and people are directionless. This story addresses these challenges for Chris, Sal and Tony as well as the extended Scalamarri family. Columbus Avenue Boys is set late 1990s (with flashbacks to the 1890-1980s) and Cameron Nation is set 2011 - 2016. While there may be another chapter in this saga, I feel Quest rounded out the life and character development left unanswered in the first two novels.

Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

David Carraturo I wanted to continue the story of the Columbus Avenue Boys and after a quick analysis I saw that from my past writings, their life as teens/young adults had not been written about so I focusd on that period.

How do you get inspired to write?

David Carraturo I only write about events, people and things that I have an interest in. Bringing all the hodge podge together into one cohesive story is fun to do.

What are you currently working on?

David Carraturo I am writing the thrid part of the Cameron trilogy. This is called Cameron's Quest and details the life of the Columbus Avenue Boys from the senior year in high school through their early 20s.

What’s your advice for aspiring writers?

David Carraturo Write that first paragraph, then the first page, then the first chapter. he ideas will flow. Also research your story as much as possible and bring your own life experiences into each story you write.
