Joyce Palmer My advice to aspiring writers is to never stop learning, write as much as you can, and never give up.
Joyce Palmer I will get an idea for a story at the weirdest times, like while I'm in the shower, or if I wake up in the middle of the night. Once an idea takes root, and I begin to see and think about the characters, they just won't let me go. I have no choice but to tell their story. That's when I get inspired—when the idea takes root.
Joyce Palmer I love reunion stories, and I was yearning to write one about a divorced couple getting back together. While watching a movie on the Lifetime Network about a girl who pretended to be pregnant while still in high school to see how she was treated by her peers sparked an idea for a college student to concoct a scheme to get his divorced parents back together, and he would write a paper for a class project. My initial title was "Parent Project" but since my story is an erotic romance, that title didn't seem appropriate, and I changed it to "Worth the Risk". The story is due to be released November 7, 2017, with Loose Id.
