For me, writing the words "The End" is so incredibly rewarding. I always have a mini celebratory dinner with a few people. However, "SUBLIME" is in production for an Audible Book. I get a new couple of chapters each morning and listen to them. Hearing the VOICES with emotion of the characters is my NEW favorite thing. I will be producing every future book in Audible just for the feeling it gives me. It is a great way to start a day.

I have a technique where I start to have a conversation with my characters. I could be in the shower, taking a walk, or just about anything as long as I have quick access to write down a thought. I write from start to finish since the characters come alive and will change all my plans. This exercise doesn't always help with the current chapter I am writing but it helps me the future chapters. I only use about 10% of the ideas I come up with by the time I get to those chapters but I think this exercise gives me more creative juices when I am writing. I also don't stress about only writing a page and deleting it later. It is part of the process. :)

As he swerved to avoid what appeared to be an Angel blocking his path, he steered his snowboard away from the blind bluff. But the icy glare of malevolence in the Devil's eyes was the final image etched in his mind before he collided headfirst into the trees, fracturing every bone on the right side of his chest, swallowed whole by the unforgiving snow.

A fictional book world I would love to visit is Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Let’s face it, an invisibility cloak is enticing no matter who you are.

I am in the middle of Brad Thor’s book series and the adventures of Scot Harvath. I share many of the same thoughts about challenges in the world that Brad writes about. I think Scot Harvath would have made an excellent recruit to “SUBLIME”.

I have an identical “mirror” twin brother. The freak mysteries of things that have happened to us in opposites (mirror reflection) are amazing. As children, we got the same illnesses at the exact same time on the opposite side of our body. We were raised on a farm so many people may not know these terms but here are a few examples. got ringworm behind my left ear, he got it behind his right. I had a boil on my left elbow, he got one on his right. I got an Ant in my left eye the same week he needed stitches in his right eye. My mystery book would be about two Identical Twins (one Evil and one Angel). They interact with other people in each other’s relationships, but nobody know it is the other twin.

DO IT! Being creative and doing something you love is so rewarding. I think if you treat it as a passion similar to gardening, it will help. The garden needs tending to on a regular basis. The garden may not be seen by anyone else but you but you still reap the rewards. Garden work isn't always fun, but the gardener always keeps the end result in mind. If you do the same thing, you can reap the rewards of your book.

I am currently working on the second book in the series, "SUBLIME - Rise of the NWO". I hope the title doesn't give away too much of the ending for the first book, but I think most readers will be expecting this twist anyway.

It is forced inspiration. I commit to 1 hour a day of just typing. Some days, the inspiration does not come. However, most days it will come and the 1 hour can turn into 8 but only seem like 1 hour has passed. I use a LOT of dialogue in my book. Once the characters start talking, they actually high-jack the direction of the book. I can honestly say that none of my books stick to the original draft outline. The characters inspire new chapters and new endings.

The idea came from three sources: 1) I have always imagined a world full of love without any negativity. 2) I work at an energy company and was fascinated when I learned about the automation and machines being used in underground mines. 3) I am a big fan of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and just completed a post graduate course in AI and Machine Learning. Once I found out exactly how much machines can do, the book concept was complete. However, the real battles between machines doesn't start until the second book. I felt that "SUBLIME Initial Recruits" had to be written to add believability to the concept which occurs in the next book.
