When I encounter writer’s block, my approach is simple yet effective: I start writing. It doesn’t matter what I write; I aim to get my fingers moving on the keyboard. I let go of any expectations or judgments about the quality or relevance of my writing and allow my thoughts to flow freely.
Whether it’s a stream of consciousness, random words, or even a description of my surroundings, I just keep writing. This process often helps to clear the mental clutter and allows new ideas to surface. Eventually, a spark of inspiration will hit, and my writing takes off from there. It’s all about breaking through that initial barrier and trusting the creative process to guide me forward.

I’m currently focused on editing the first novel of my series, which follows the short story prelude, “The Legend of Sun and Moon.” This project has truly been a labor of love for me. Over time, I’ve meticulously developed the storyline across what could be roughly six books, each at various stages of drafting. At present, the first and second books are nearing their final drafts, and my primary focus is on polishing the first for publication. Delving into the editing process is an exhilarating phase as I fine-tune the narrative to bring it to readers soon. It’s an exciting journey, and I can’t wait to share this world with others.

I find inspiration to write in everything around me—it’s a constant presence in my life. This hasn’t always been the case, but when I discovered the joy of writing, it consumed me entirely. Whether it’s the beauty of nature, the complexities of human emotions, or simply the rhythm of everyday life, there’s always something stirring my imagination. I often find myself struggling to focus on other tasks because the desire to write is so strong. It’s not just a hobby or a passion; it’s a fundamental part of who I am and who I’ve become. The urge to put pen to paper (or fingertips to keyboard) is ever-present, driving me to explore new ideas, express my thoughts, and create worlds of my own making.

The best thing about being a writer is the freedom to escape into my own world whenever I pick up a pen or sit at my keyboard. Writing serves as a sanctuary, offering respite from life’s stresses and challenges. It’s more than just a creative outlet—it’s a means to express my deepest emotions and thoughts. When life presents hurdles or emotions run high, diving into the realms of fantasy in my mind provides a therapeutic release. Crafting stories allows me to explore new perspectives, navigate complex feelings, and ultimately find solace in the act of creation.

I would journey to Pandora without hesitation. The lush, vibrant world and the unique culture of the Na’vi have always fascinated me. Immersing myself in their way of life, learning their customs, and understanding their deep connection with nature would be a dream come true. One of my ultimate goals would be to bond with and fly on the back of an ikran, experiencing the exhilaration and freedom that comes with it. Exploring the bioluminescent forests, connecting with the wildlife, and perhaps even joining in their spiritual ceremonies would make for an unforgettable adventure. Pandora’s beauty and the profound wisdom of its inhabitants would surely leave a lasting impact on me.

I drew inspiration for my most recent short story, “The Legend of Sun and Moon,” from my Native American heritage and deep connection to the moon. Growing up, I was captivated by origin stories and creation legends, which resonate strongly within my culture. Being an avid reader of fantasy and romance novels, I decided to weave these elements into my own narrative.
As I delved into writing my first novel, I realized that the enchanting characters I created deserved an origin story of their own. “The Legend of Sun and Moon” emerged as a prelude, offering readers a glimpse into the rich backstory that shaped the world of my upcoming novel.
Through this journey, I've explored themes of love, magic, and destiny, weaving them into what I hope readers will find as an enchanting narrative of adventure and romance. I'm excited to share this imaginative world with readers, offering them a glimpse into the origins of cherished characters and the captivating universe they inhabit.
