My family and I traveled through Japan and its islands, Taiwan, Hongkong and the Philippines. I wanted to introduce my grandkids to relatives in the Philippines during the Christmas season of 2024.
It was stressful to deal with family one had not seen for decades. I suffered a stroke on Dec. 21th. Instead of merry-making, I was bedridden on Christmas and New Year. I remained in the hospital after my entire family except for my husband left for California.
We were prevented from air travel for another month. Returned to CA in mid-February 2025. That began my tedious but determined recovery til today.
