What God Wished I Knew--I recently made a short video in which I talk about my thoughts on my first thirty seconds in heaven. As I’m standing there before God, it immediately becomes clear to me the things God was trying to teach me—things that God made so obvious while I was on earth—yet I failed to grasp. The realization came to me that living these biblical truths would give me peace and joy and enable me to live the life God planned for me. When our oldest daughter was a teenager her rebellion became harder and harder to deal with. Eventually she left home and our relationship was even more strained. My husband and I learned a new way to parent her and show her love in the midst of her poor decisions. It was the only way to stay in relationship with her and without relationship we knew we had nothing. As we continued in our journey I saw other parents struggling in the same situation. I wanted to share with other parents what we did that did and didn't work. Thus--Love No Matter What: When Your Kids Make Decisions You Don't Agree With.
