I'm so glad you are enjoying it, but, I have no idea how to answer your question! I'm currently listening to The Name of the Wind on audio book--it's the first I've listened to one in my adult life, so I have no idea who there even is from me to choose from! I love all British actors but my stories are American so none of them would fit the bill. Maybe Hilary Duff? Would she do an audio book for me, you think?

Most recently I'm working on Ground Zero, a post-apocalyptic time travel fantasy. Once upon a time I had an idea for a girl who lived in an underground bunker and resisted magical-hating baddies. Once upon another time, I thought I'd like to try my hand at time travel. Many years later, I put the two ideas together, and there come Ground Zero.

I tend to think of favorite characters as individuals rather than couples, so this is a hard one. I think I'd have to go with Emma and Mr. Knightley from Jane Austen's Emma. I've always loved how Mr. Knightley tries to make Emma a better person, even when [especially when!] she's too involved with herself to notice.
