Hi Trisha,
That's a very good question. I have a strong feeling we haven't seen the last of Anna. I'm not sure she'll ever be able to redeem herself, but it's possible.
Naked Edge didn't sell as well as I'd hoped. My other two series are paying the bills so I have to spend most of my time and energy promoting them and working on the next book in the Sanctuary Series.
HOWEVER...I love, love, love the characters in The Rocky Mountain Romance Series. I refuse to abandon them!
Cherri and Wade are bugging me to write their story, but I can only justify working on it after I've hit my daily word count goals for "Gabriel's Gift" (the fourth book in TSS). Since the release date for that book is looming, most days I don't finish until after midnight.
The fact that you took the time to inquire about Anna means a lot to me. I'll have a little bit of free time once I send the first draft of GG to my editor. I'll spend that time working on the next Rocky Mountain Romance book.
I'm so grateful for the privilege of being a full time writer, but I miss the days where I could work on whatever story I wanted. I'm more accountable to my readers than I am to my muse.
I'll campaign harder to slip Cherri and Wade's story between Gabriel' Gift and the next Sanctuary book. If you'd like to see that happen, tell all your friends to read and review "Naked Edge." ;-)
Hugs!

I used to step away from the story for a while but that just made it even harder for me to go back to. Now, I just start typing anything that comes to mind about those characters. For five or ten minutes, I just write anything I think of without worrying about punctuation or format or spelling. That usually gets an idea or two flowing that I can go back and work with.

Just start. I spent a lot of years putting off what I now wish I had kept up with since high school. I have so many stories to write and not enough years left in this lifetime to write them all so my advice is to just do it. Your first few stories might be terrible. I know mine were. But you'll get better with each one and it's one of the most rewarding careers I've ever had. And I've had many.
