There is a really delightful book that I had years ago called "A traveller's guide to Mars" or something like that. Basically, a science book about Mars written in the style of a Lonely Planet guide. Of all the books I've gotten rid of over the years, that is the one I most want to get back!

Yes. I use Joshua Leavitt, an old college friend of mine, for all of my editing (except for short stories, which I edit myself).

I would like to be able to say that the book I'm most proud of is always the latest book I've released. Right now, that is actually the case. I recently wrote an AI-assisted novel titled The Riches of Xulthar, which I'm releasing chapter by chapter on my blog, and I'm very proud of how it turned out. I plan to release it in ebook/audio/print in September.

When the words just won't come no matter how hard I try, I change my surroundings. One particularly bad case of writer's block was cured when I took my laptop on the Provo River Trail and sat down on a random park bench. I've also found that laundromats can be very stimulating.

Define what "success" means to you, and don't be afraid to blaze your own path to get there. Most of my own success has come in spite of the advice I've received, not because of it. So long as you're willing to put in the work, improve your craft, and study out all of your options, you'll figure it out.
Most importantly, don't forget to have fun!

Right now (July 2014) I'm working on a couple of short story ideas that have been burning in my mind. When that's done, I'll either pick up a fantasy novel that I've been meaning to finish or start the fourth book in the SONS OF THE STARFARERS series. Check out my blog for more up-to-date information about what I'm writing!
