I'm currently putting the finishing touches on the second novel in this Remembrance Saga, which is Book: Victors. It takes place immediately after the cliffhanger in Book One: Arrival. I also concurrently working on a digital theatre version of Remembrance, which involves Books One and Two. I'm collaborating with an awesome composer and bandleader, Tracy Kash.

I'm inspired by nature mostly. I love being near water and trees. I enjoy walking and bike riding. I also am inspired by music, particularly film soundtracks.

I stumbled across an old newspaper article about a black World War I veteran. He was holding up a medal and he mentioned that African American soldiers had fought for France in World War I and were not allowed to fight for the U.S. I found that so intriguing. Over a decade later, I came across a great book, American Patriots by Gail Buckley, which explained this further, and I got the idea of perhaps writing a play about this. The play idea then turned into an idea for a musical. In the last five years, I decided that a novel would be great to start with, then a musical.
