Matt Whitaker Being a writer is all about expression. Everyone has a way of expressing themselves and writing is just one of those methods.
Matt Whitaker I would say to make time to write. When I started writing 366 Days of One-Hit Wonders, I was working two jobs and was frequently exhausted. However, I would carve out some time almost every day to complete some research on a song or artist or write down some ideas I had floating in my head. It really helped keep that creative spark going.
Matt Whitaker I'm mostly focused on promoting my first book right now. However, I am casually putting ideas together for the sequel and am excited to start really diving into it.
Matt Whitaker I feel like I write the best when I'm needing an outlet and need to out my energy into something productive and enjoyable. I love music and writing, so being able to fuse these interests together has been awesome.
Matt Whitaker I love music and have always wanted to write a book. For my 28th birthday month, I posted a one-hit wonder daily to my Facebook page and wrote a little blurb about each song for fun. When the month was up, I missed doing it every day and came up with the idea of doing a one-hit wonder for each day of the entire year and slowly began putting it together in my free time.
