How do you deal with writer’s block?

Tess Raynes I ride my bike, I play with my dogs, I clean the house, and I try to promote the books I have out; which is the part I don't like about being an author.

I just try to find other things to do until the urge hits me again. It's usually in the middle of the night, but it does eventually return.

Tess Raynes Being able to express myself in a way I never could.

What’s your advice for aspiring writers?

Tess Raynes Just start. You never know what will happen and if nothing happens at least it is very therapeutic for you to get all that stuff out of your head!

What are you currently working on?

Tess Raynes I have several I am working on and unsure which ones will make it through to publication. I have three thrillers and one Romance novel in the works. I hope to finish the historical romance novel because it started based on a true story, but then of course creative expansion happened. :)
