(view spoiler)[I'm really, really hoping in 2024! I plan to re-release the books with fresh edits and updated covers, and then hopefully release the remaining books in the series close together. (hide spoiler)]

Yeah, you're cute.

COVID definitely threw a wrench into writing on our end! But to answer your question: YES. There are definitely more books planned in the series, and the next one has been started. I hate that it's taken so long between books, but I hope when the next comes out, everyone who enjoyed the first several will pick it up.

I had the idea for Archer first, as flawed as he is. I wanted to write about a boy who killed people while feeling he was doing the right thing. Then, I started asking myself questions, "Why is he doing this? For who? What background did he have that led him to this?" And thus, the plot came together. :)

Book 2 in the Dark is the Night series will be out soon! (Possibly November, if all works out well.) Following that, there will be a novella, and then book 3 in 2019. :)

The Dark is the Night series will have a number of books, actually! Book number two focuses again on William and James, from William's POV. There's also a spin-off novella in the works, and at least two more books planned, if not more. :) You can keep up to date and see teasers for book 2 on my FB group at https://www.facebook.com/groups/kelle... !

At this moment, there is not a sequel for Chance's story. :)

Hi Anna! I'm sending you a message via Goodreads.
This question contains spoilers...
(view spoiler)[Ok so I just finished your book "Made of Stars" like half an hour ago, BTW I loved it. But I do have a few questions.
Who killed Mrs. Harvey? Was it Chance, because he was mad at his mom for planning to leave without him? Was it Mr. Harvey, because he found out that his wife was planning on leaving him?
Are you panning on writing a sequel to this amazing story? (hide spoiler)]

I'm not entirely sure on a sequel. I do sort of have one in my head, but we'll see if it ever gets written or if it's any good. It might not have enough sustenance, y'know? As for who killed Tabitha...well, I can't answer that one. :) That's for the readers to decide!

What if the reader is conflicted with multiple scenarios?! O.o

The book I'm working on now is for NaNoWriMo. I originally started another story and got several thousand words in...and out of nowhere, while listening to a particular song, an idea struck for a character. I can't say too much about it without spoiling it... :) But it was so sudden and clear, and I wish all my ideas came to me with such clarity!
Kelley York
That's so awesome! Thank you very much for requesting it. :)

HUSHED was originally published in 2011 as digital and print-on-demand. In October 2013, Entangled Publishing re-released it digitally (with a new cover) on one of their new lines. So it's still available. :) The digital version may have been taken down for a little while, but it's there again. Print copies are available on B&N or Amazon!
