I either work on another story or I take my mind away from writing completely and watch, read, or play video games with different stories and ideas that help clear tour block or inspire you to do something in your work.

Keep writing, take breaks if needed but get in the habit of writing everyday or at the very least think about what you can do to towards your writing. It can be thoughts on where to go next in the story or maybe you want to give your characters down time and they hit up a casino and gamble for a helpful item? Whatever it is make sure it's something useful towards your writing
Some motion is better than none and ultimately it will only get written if you do the work.

I have dabbled in writing most of my life. I have numerous ideas and stories I want to share with the world. Inspiration for me can come from anywhere and anything.
For example my first short story was a dream I had that had helped calm my anxieties about life and purpose enough to take a step and live it. I wanted to share that with others and maybe help someone else take that step towards life.
Be inspired by the things around you and let the creative juices flow till something sticks but don't copy what others have done.

I am currently working on book two of the Forever's series. It takes place four months after the ending of Forever's Shadow. My plan is to expand the world and aftermath of the ending of Forever's Shadow while having Elias deal with his personal demons and try to move forward in life. He will also have his friends and their life changing problems, a whole set of new issues in the greater world, and of course deal with the BBG of the first book and mysteries surrounding his existence.
My hope is to make it double in size and scope while maintaining the flow of adventure, realistic approach to the fantasy world I have crafted, and how life isnt just black and white that was prominent in the first book.

I was inspired by some unfortunate events in my life with my my now ex wife, my love of DnD, and Anime. I had all these pent up emotions weighing me down and needed a way to sort through them. As I wrote random thoughts and ideas down, the opening of Forever's Shadow was born.
