As a practicing lawyer it is hard to find the time to write. For me, it has to be for the love of a good story, and when I have one in my mind, it keeps reminding me it's there until I do something about it.

The inspiration for the Adventures of My Grandpa Bert is my Grandpa Jackson. I saw him do things a man his age shouldn't be able to do, and he gained a reputation among my friends for being pretty spectacular.
