Getting lost in this fictional world that you created and control. Taking everyday life and turning it into a story another person might find helpful, consoling or uplifting.
Every day is an adventure. When you are a writer, you get to live that adventure on a daily basis!

I'd love to hear some good advice for aspiring writers :) So please all you bookish lovelies - drop your best advice here! Together, we know so much more, than any guru out there.
Looking back, my best advice would be - Go and embark on your writing journey. Don't hesitate, just do it! Do it for you.
Write down your story, take it page by page, see where it leads you. It brought me so much joy, just discovering what being a writer means to me, personally.
If you value the journey, it doesn't matter where the end product leads you. You've enjoyed every single step of the way and nobody can take that from you!

My fantasy has always been running rampant. Turns out... my brain was made for writing!
I've also published a children's book (in Dutch, it's called Mingo the Flamango) - about differences and finding friends in the most peculiar places.
As soon as I started to seriously put Electrifying Awakening on paper, I just knew: this. This is living the life. It's what I'm made for. It's what makes me... insanely happy!
Just the writing process on it's own has been bliss. I consider it a blessing to be able to share Juno's story with you all!

For the past 10 years or so, I've been gobbling up reverse harem / why choose fantasy novels. Adding them to Goodreads recently, I discovered I read over 200 already! (wow!)
I thoroughly enjoy them. But. As a 30-something mom of 3 kids (42 years nowadays, hush, don't tell), I sometimes have a hard time identifying with the 20-something FMC.
Yes. I love a good academy trope. Also? I thought it might be awesome to read about a kick-ass mom in her 30's, finding herself smackdab in the middle of a hot why choose fated mates situation all of a sudden. She's married for f-sake! Her husband's been keeping a secret though...
