How old were you when you wrote your first book?

Casey Harvell I completed Lingering, my first book, at 27.

How do you deal with writer’s block?

Casey Harvell I don't haha. Not that I don't get it, I just ignore it. The more I used to stress about it the worse it'd get. Now I ignore it and a day or so later it goes away on it's own. So embrace it, let it go and it'll move on when it's ready.

What’s the best thing about being a writer?

Casey Harvell My overactive imagination doesn't make me seem so insane anymore ;)
Also you can get away with having insane stuff in your search history because you're researching your next novel!

What’s your advice for aspiring writers?

Casey Harvell Don't give up and remember no book starts out awesome. It takes a lot of hard work. There's nothing easy about writing, but you do it because you love it--because it screams at you to let it out. Never lose sight of that and you'll do great!
