Mariam Kobras Several things. I think I've reached that point in my writing life when I have to stop and figure out what I really want to do. I'm clearly done with the Stone family. It was hard to accept that; they've been with me for so many years now. But life goes on, and things change. We need to grow, and we need to change. Writing evolves, new characters come along. Nothing is permanent.
Mariam Kobras The stories are everywhere, all around us. All we have to do is find them. Listen, watch, learn. Write.
Mariam Kobras Write. Yes, really. That's all. :)

Mariam Kobras For me, definitely plotting. I like to follow the lead of my characters, they generally know what they're doing… except when they're not. Then I'm in trouble! Inspiration generally comes with writing, and the story knows when it's done being told. I trust my instincts.
