The politician rubbed his hands together and with a menacing grin filled with venom and spite said.

If it's fictional worlds it would be a coin toss between Alice's Wonderland or Resident Evils Racoon City. If it's a real world I would love to meet an Ancient Greek Scientist called Aristarchus of Samos, or Hypatia of Alexandria, putting a bit of time travelling sniping in on Ptolemy....... Lol this is a fun question.....

Yes and no. What happened in my case is I got blocked, so I started to research Bio-Physics and that resulted in some writing of a more explanatory nature, but that action in itself re-booted the process. (I think it did, but it may have been the weather.) So if writing block hits, sit back and try something different for a while, however although the period was productive it wasn't in a written way, and I have to add that anything I could have written at that time would have been sub standard, I guess relaxing away from writing was useful too...... Hope that helps.... ;-)

There isn't any best thing about it, as you are what you are and with writing, it is what it is.

Sobbing, or screaming at the sky, doesn't solve the problem, but then it doesn't hurt either. I have yet to find a solution to it. If you hear of one, please let me know.

I accepted that one of my favourite books is the kids classic, Alice In Wonderland. I had been playing with the idea of an adult sci fi equivalent, for a long time, but I was insecure about my skills as a writer, and happily held back before I wrote it. The latest book is The Konichiwa Collective. It is dedicated to Lewis Carroll after all. So it had to be good. The idea itself was a spin off on cryogenics, that I had played with but didn't include in the Navigator, my first book. Both are part of the Awash In Starlight series of books. Yet that theme came from the first book and grew, becoming what I think of as an homage to Mr Carroll, and an evolution into the realm of science fiction.
