Seeing my story come alive! But most importantly, getting to experience seeing others delve into my world and share the same admiration for it as I do. As I write, I always come across this sheer excitement that activates my serotonin. I whisper to myself a subtle compliment given that I love the piece so much. I build characters from scratch in hopes that people can relate to them. I often have admiration for these characters and feel for them despite their fictional depiction. The moment someone reads my story and shares that same excitement, I know I did something right. No pun intended haha!

Writers block is such a cautious issue because it can appear at any given moment. When writing my most recent debut novel, Modus, there were moments where I found myself having to deal with writers block. In truth, it's a result of over using our brains to the point where we find ourselves in a blank space. It can last as little as a few hours to days, sometimes months.
To overcome a brief writers block I assure to put everything down and move around. Whether I walk around my home or have a quick workout, I often find my ideas rekindling the moment I take a step back and become active. However, when dealing with a long term writers block I need to just put everything aside and focus on myself. Breaks are important, and it is more than okay to pause your written piece. Ones admiration and dedication to it will determine whether they are able to resume.
Another major technique of mine is to listen to a variety music throughout. Music holds the power to match the tone of your story and taking the time to build a playlist is crucial to me.
It is important to remember that our minds often shut. However, we must remind ourselves that the moment it manages to re-open, a spurge of ideas will flows out. Only because it was inside of you the whole time, your mind solely needed a break to charge.
