Bill Rogers This summer I read 'London Rules' by the brilliant Mick Herron, 'The Temptation of Forgiveness' by Donna Leon, 'A Legacy of Spies' by John le Carre. [complete with acute accent. sic) and 'Shame' an inspiring autobiographical story of forced marriage and triumph over adversity. I would have read many more but I was also busy completing 'The Girl and the Shadowman.' The latest in the DCI Caton Manchester Murder Mysteries.
Bill Rogers Conan Doyle's London. I would track Sherlock Holme's every move, and see if I could track down some of my ancestors while I was at it.
Bill Rogers Hi Kerry. The Blow Out was the last in the current series, but the good news is that Is Stuart's mentor DCI Tom Caton is back! Caton's 11th thrilling case is due to be published later this month. 9 October 2019) I gave in to the pressure from his many fans, and brought him back. Bill Rogers The Tangled Lock features a serial killer with a unique and unusual signature. In the research for my previous 12 novels I learned a great deal about the criminal mind, and in particular about motivations, triggers, and consequences. Things that really interest me. I wanted to produce a novel that shared many of the elements of true crime, and was authentic in every respect, but which introduced a twist that I don't believe that I've come across before. Specifically, the transfer of trophy trace evidence from one victim to the next. I also wanted to treat the victims not just as a prop or backdrop to the story, but as human beings with stories of their own, and with whom we can empathises despite the road they have chosen to travel down.
Bill Rogers Reading the work of other authors whom I admire and enjoy, and being exhorted by fans to produce the next one as quickly as possible!
Bill Rogers I am currently waiting to hear from my publisher. Depending on that conversation I will shortly be beginning the fourth title in the SI Stuart National Crime Agency series, or #11 in the DCI Caton Manchester Murder Mysteries.
Bill Rogers Read, read, read. Write, write, write.
Bill Rogers "Death Becomes You", said the ghostly figure as it hovered above her.

Bill Rogers The satisfaction of creating something that has form and function, engages the brain, involves discovery about the subject matter, and oneself, and represents a challenge to be overcome. The icing on the cake is hearing from readers that they have enjoyed the end result.
Bill Rogers This is something that I have never really experienced. I have the upmost sympathy for those who do. I would find it extremely upsetting if I did.
