Hi—thank you! The CONSORT characters will appear in the novel FRENCHMAN STREET, which comes out July 24, then a new Fae Hunters novella (ROMY’s story) is planned for the fall!

Hi there--I'm not sure you got my email, so I wanted to respond here as well. It's been about seven months since BELLE CHASSE came out, and unfortunately, unless they're self-publishing, authors don't get to choose their release dates.
HOWEVER, my publisher has released me to put out book six on my own as long as I wait at least a year after BELLE CHASSE. So book six, FRENCHMAN STREET, should be out in early February 2018. That's as early as I can legally release it (and not be right in the middle of the holidays).

Hi Lucy--Yes, definitely! Some other projects got pushed ahead of it and right now I'm waiting to see if my publisher wants it or if I'll put it out on my own. Either way, I've already begun writing it and hope to have it out in late summer or early fall. Thanks!

I hope so. I only had it set up for Kindle-Only the first three months, so I should be able to expand its distribution now. I'm new at this self-publishing thing, though, so it might take me a while to get through the learning curve!

Hi Nicole! Yes, there will be one more Penton Legacy book, and then some of the Penton characters will segue into (I hope) a new Omega Force series. The fifth Penton Legacy book is tentatively titled ILLUMINATION, and I hope to have it out in March. Thanks for your interest in the series!

Hi Bart--so glad you like the series! Book five, BELLE CHASSE, is already finished and was turned in to my publisher back in December but I haven't gotten a release date yet. They are EXTREMELY slow, so I'm guessing it will be spring 2016 before they can get it out. I will be releasing a collection of stories in the Sentinels world this fall. I'm usually writing to a deadline, and giving in to writer's block means missing a deadline. Since that's REALLY not good for a writer's career, you just have to power through writer's block and write anyway. Give yourself permission to write crap and just get words on the page. They usually aren't as bad as they feel :-)

I don't usually have a problem naming characters. Sometimes I use family names (Drusilla Jane was my great-grandmother and one of my family names is Jaco). Sometimes they just come to me out of the blue. I like to use surnames as given names, and I think my favorite has been Mirren Kincaid. I'd been watching something with actress Helen Mirren in it and thought, "Mirren" would be a cool name...for a big, bad vampire--LOL.

PIRATE'S ALLEY is the buildup to a preternatural war in New Orleans, and I got the idea for how it would all pan out from reading about the real Battle of New Orleans back in 1815, only instead of the English fighting the Americans, it's the wizards, elves, faeries, and historical undead!
