I am usually working on a few books at a time. Over time, the ideas develop and make their way from thoughts to words in a notebook. And them some more words, and then the characters take the story where it is meant to go.

Write because the words are bursting from your being! Write because there are no other outlets to direct your thoughts! Write because it gives you joy!
