Hi, sorry for the delay in my answer, Just saw this question! My secret or strategy is that even when writing was a side gig for me, I treated it as a full-time job, set publishing schedules for the year, and stuck to them. Things are as you see them. If you see it as a hobby and assign time and dedication to it as such, that's what it becomes and stays.

Since there is usually a story or some dialogue playing in my head all of the time, I know that a case of writer's block means I am mentally and probably physically exhausted. Usually, I take a break, step away from the keyboard, and watch a good movie or read a good book. Listening to music helps as well.
