Well, what's next is a book about the general invasion of the country, which is called "Lies to Rule Men" and will be finished hopefully byt the end of September.
The Russo-Ukraine war is big on my mind. I wargame everything out and I realized that the US Army would not be able to take all of Deseret without activating the National Guard - which would be politically Disastrous for Sharma. So the more I wrote Lies to Rule Men, the more I thought that teh invasion would not go like 2003 Iraq for the US. It would go more like 2022 in Ukraine... for Russia.
