J.P. Jackson Writing now, tonight actually! It's going great! Fingers crossed it will be pretty spectacular.
J.P. Jackson I do the unexpected. I turn it all upside down. Slap someone, shot someone, write something I can't predict. If I don't know what my character will do next, then that's a good sign.
J.P. Jackson I don't feel like a writer, and if anyone ever called me that I would feel like a fraud. I'm just a guy scribbling stories in his attic. I don't set out to create the sweeping timeless novel, but just plod away with my nasty adventure stories. If they are any value to anyone then I thank you.
J.P. Jackson Read. That's all. Read and learn. Always learn, and just keep going!
J.P. Jackson The Unsinkable Ham Taylor!
The second story in the series is very different from the first. It's a more intriguing story, a tense battle of wits with a villain for the ages. *fingers crossed*
J.P. Jackson I always wanted to write movies. I submitted scripts and being a nobody, they never got a look in. I thought, what if I just do it myself? Create my stories and throw them out there as books.
I initially feared the process of writing a novel and was intimidated by those greats who have come before me, so I tried to read as much as I could before humbly entering that scary territory.
J.P. Jackson Probably whilst walking and turning thoughts over in my head. I love adventure stories and wanted to create a deeply flawed character that I haven't seen before in that genre. Someone a wee bit nasty, and to make the readers question their loyalty to that protagonist. I don't know if I achieved that, but I'll keep trying.
