K.L. Parry There had been the true mystery of what happened to my father. He had been absent from most of my life but since the early 90's I had no clue to where he had gone or even if he was still alive. The mystery was solved over the summer this year after I did some brain-wracking investigating and located him. The reunion was beautiful and cathartic...the healing power of forgiveness is amazing. In a bittersweet twist, 60 days later he passed due to COVID pneumonia. Still, I am grateful to have had those 60 days.
K.L. Parry Jazmine, I am glad you contacted me. There were some early print versions that mostly went out to friends and family. That was the book seen on Pretty Little Liars. The finished edition is currently for sale on Amazon as an ebook. It can be downloaded to any phone, tablet, and pc. I'm in the process of making available an in-print edition before the end of March.
K.L. Parry I'm inspired everyday by people. For example, I met a woman just the other day and after learning something tragic about her past and how it affected her present, wondered what her life would be like without having experienced that tragic, life-altering event. Those thoughts are food to the writer.
K.L. Parry Right now I'm working on another book in the "High Seas Adventure" series and trying to find time to finish up an edit on "Girl In The Mermaid Tail", my take on a Twilight Zone type novella.
K.L. Parry Firstly, put down the cell. Then just do it! Write. And when your not writing, read.
K.L. Parry I don't know if I can answer that other than to say there is fulfillment in doing what you know you should be.
The down side is the weight I've put on from all the time I have been spending at my computer writing. (shrugging my shoulders) What's a girl to do?
K.L. Parry When I find myself stuck it has always meant that I was moving in a wrong direction. I back up a chapter or two and go another direction or POV. I'm back in the zone.
