The Bible and just what is on my heart. I spend a lot of time in God's Word and in prayer. I journal and read my Bible everyday. For me it's writing out from the overflow of what God has placed in my heart.

Write what you love to write about. Don't let trends, or what's popular, control what you write. The only way you are going to stick to being disciplined in your writing is if you enjoy writing.

I just write. Even if it doesn't make sense, or if it's just what is on my mind at that moment I just start writing. I find if I can't use what i write in my non-fiction books they usually make great notes or content for my fiction work.
