My most recent book is "Forgotten: A Stepping Stone to the Stars." It is the third book in the Forsaken trilogy about the search for and discovery of extraterrestrial intelligence. I got the idea for the book after the launch of the Cassini probe and the landing of a probe on the Saturn moon Titan. That gave me a place to start the story.

I get inspired by events and people around me. Because my genre is sci-fi, I read a lot about astronomy, space and science. I am a member of the Planetary Society, an outgrowth of the original SETI organization which is searching for signs of extraterrestrial intelligence.
