My Key to the Cursed series is based on Egyptian Underworld mythology. I was looking to break into publication with something really unique. The idea came from one of my son's cartoon movies. Odd I know, but I thought what an amazing world I can create. The series exploded and the Underworld gods were born.

Inspiration is not in short supply for me. Honestly, I have the opposite problem of too many stories banging around in my head and not enough time to write them all down. I love it.

I step away, work on something else and come back to it. I often get writer's block when my character is about to do something that doesn't feel quite right. Often, its because it falls outside of their character. I spend some time figuring out why and correct it. After that everything goes smoothly.

Getting away to another world, at least the one in my head. It's just a nice escape from reality and if I can bring enjoyment to my readers all the better.
