I'm still working on the first draft, so I can't give you any kind of super accurate date. Sometime next year, most likely.

With some books I'll have the entire thing either plotted out or at least planned in my head, but I usually write without knowing where exactly it's going to go. Sometimes I'll think I know what's going to happen, but it ends up being completely different.

I actually recently got a part time job, but it was much more because of needing human interaction than the money. I naturally lead a frugal lifestyle--shopping is a chore, not a hobby--so I've never needed or really even craved a higher income.

I usually try to write the entire thing in one sitting. However, most of my "short stories" tend to end up being 10-20k words long, so it's not uncommon for me to spend up to a week on the first draft.
