Nick and Nora Charles. Always chic. Always debonair. Always drunk. Mmmm... martini breakfast!

Hi, JoAnn! No, my books usually take a couple of years to before they're ready. That said, I've been busy on my next novel, "Passable Cats", and just to stay fresh, I've penned a few free short stories on my blog (http://jonetheredge.com). I'd love to hear your opinion of the latest story, "Assateague". It's a tad longish at just under 7K words.
What's with the book market nowadays? I can't give away my books unless I become a serial killer and get interviewed on Fox & Friends (and even then, I have include a kitten with each book). We're re-releasing "Dream Talker" with a new cover and hopefully, endorsements from the Midwest Book Review and others. Wasn't I supposed to be rich and famous by now?

Assateague is finished. It's a short story (about 35 pages), published exclusively on my blog. "Assateague" is the barrier island just north of Chinco
