I can't find a place to friend or message me on my profile page, but I think that's because I'm logged in, and GR probably thinks I wouldn't be interested in messaging or friending myself. Little do they know! (I wonder what would happen if I wanted to Follow myself...) I think if you go to my profile, which should come up by clicking on my name at the top of any post I've made in a group, the page should have a button to Friend or Message, etc. If it doesn't, then I haven't a clue.

Maybe... I know I had a tree phase not too long ago. I remember being captivated by the information that trees communicated with each other and cooperated rather than competed for nourishment --

Regardless, thank you for that link about the gorgeous yew tree! I am reassured by the comments that it is just a phase, and has been known to happen before, and that it will "probably outlive the church."
