For me the best thing about being a writer would be knowing that someone out there enjoyed the thoughts that came from my head. I do have to hear from the ones that don't like my thoughts but you can't please everyone!

Plan the story through from start to finish. It will take much more information than you think but it will cut down on writers block. Don't be afraid of writers block because it will happen but the story comes back.

Right now I'm working on the idea of David's children coming of age, getting responsibilities and of course, the girl. No spoiler but one part of one of the book ideas had my wife worried because a book made me cry!

I have a 5 year old daughter that is a great distraction from whatever I'm doing. I play with her until I get the entire writing thing out of my head then tell my wife I'm headed for "Lala land". I lay down, close my eyes and the story comes back!
