I'd absolutely love to live in basically any pastoral starting point from any fantasy series. Both the Ramtops/the Chalk from Discworld and the Shire come to mind.

I'm trying to work through all the Discworld books right now. There are more than 40, and at the rate I'm going I'll be reading them into 2028.
Aside from that, I've been wanting to read more Dan Davis. I read "Vampire Heretic" a little over a year ago, which is one of the middle books in his Immortal Knight series, and thought it was really good and want to give the whole series a try now. Also been eyeing "Godborn" and the rest of the "Gods of Bronze" series, also by Dan Davis.
I'm also always open to horror recommendations.

I actually lived in a haunted house! My third childhood home, which my parents bought when I was 14 and only just sold a few years ago, was built in 1885 and was haunted by at least four different ghosts. Two of the books I'm currently working on (one of which I almost have a rough draft ready for beta readers and the other of which is still in the outlining phase) both feature hauntings or haunted houses, and I've drawn from a lot of my experiences with things that go bump in the night in that house. While nothing malicious ever happened there, it's great to have that first hand experience to be able to help set mood.
