ASF DeWeese It came to me in a dream!

I knew I wanted a female-centric outlaw gang but set in a fantasy world instead of the Wild West. A morally gray hero was a necessity. When I was given the opportunity to join the Of Dusk and Dawn collection I knew it would be the perfect fit.
ASF DeWeese I lean on my writer friends - we hype each other into a frenzy some days. I also get completely jazzed when I have a reader give me positive feedback - there is no greater inspiration for an author!
ASF DeWeese After Blade Upon the Vein, I am finishing a dragon shifter fantasy romance called The WovenWood Warrior. I'll finish out 2024 with a Snowed In and Spiteful novel, a gargoyle romance, or a urban historian fantasy.
ASF DeWeese You can do it. Put aside the excuses and write the novel, even if you only get one sentence a day. Find a community of like-minded people to support you is vital...and rewarding beyond measure. My author friendships have made publishing possible.
ASF DeWeese Knowing that I did it! It has always been a dream of mine and being able to sit down at my computer every day knowing I really can achieve what I set out to do is the very best feeling.
ASF DeWeese The only way I have found to beat writer's block is to switch gears. I give myself some grace and the permission to not achieve anything for x amount of days. I set a reminder on my calendar and don't think about words until then. Then I spend that time reading, crafting, or watching the dumbest mind-numbing TV shows I can stomach.
