Hi Terri, I just finished the third book in the Stone Circles trilogy, and I see you never published a fourth. Why??? I LOVED those books!! And you left us all hanging in suspense!! I wanted to she what the Animal Warrior was like!! Pretty Please With Sugar On Top, write the fourth book!!!
Terri Brisbin Thanks for asking! Book 4 - SEARING MOON is in the works and the Beastblood is fabulous - he can take the shape of ANY creature and there will be a battle of dragons, too. It will not be coming too soon, probably late 2025 or so due to real life and writing contracts but it will be worth it!

Terri Brisbin I apologize for missing this question! I would suggest my medieval DUMONT series beginning with The Dumont Bride or my KNIGHTS OF BRITTANY series beginning with The Conqueror's Lady.

I'm an aspiring writer, but I'm dealing with two things: I get discouraged every single day because 96% of manuscripts are rejected, and I haven't had an idea for years, literally. There's too many people wanting to be writers, and knowing there's so much competition just kills me a little every day. When I get motivated, immediatly something appears about the industry that kills it. Any tips on how to deal with this?
Terri Brisbin Cintia - either you are a writer or you're not. You can aspire to be published but if you can give up writing, then you aren't a writer. You need to ignore all the rest of the crap and focus on telling your story and then working to make it the best it can be. And then you do it again. All that matters is you tell your story.
Harlen Coben said that, in this business, no one has to fail for you to succeed. So, focus on your ideas, cultivate and encourage them and then write them. The industry will change again by the time you are ready to be published so worry about that once you are nearing the end of writing a book....Keep an eye on things, but don't let it discourage you. Good luck!

Are there going to be any more MacLerie books?
Terri Brisbin Stephanie - sorry I missed your question!!

At this time, the MacLerie Clan stories finish (after 11 of them!) with YIELD TO THE HIGHLANDER. There are two Regency set historical romances in which their descendants appear (THE EARL'S SECRET and "Blame It On The Mistletoe" in ONE CANDLELIT CHRISTMAS), too.

*********There is another MacLerie romance - a crossover with my Highland Feuding series in 2021 The Highlander's Inconvenient Bride!
