I just skip ahead to what I think will happen next. Your characters know, even if you don't. So trust them, move forward, and they will fill in the blanks. Then go back and write that scene which got you stuck.

Bringing worlds to life. Literally. It's amazing that by using words, we can transfer our thoughts and stories to other people's brains, that will hopefully live with them forever. That sounds like a superpower to me.
