Several big projects are on my desk, both from my books and manuscripts for my Destiny Whispers Authors. My upcoming books are "Beautiful Lies," a psychic romantic suspense and "Promise by Heart," a contemporary romance set in Monterey, California. Also works in progress is "Dangerous Truth," the followup to "Beautiful Lies." Another story coming to life is "A Lily for Gabriel," a contemporary romance with lots of heart <3
Currently being edited for Roxy Matthews, a contracted Destiny Author, is the second book in her Pale Bay Treasures Series, "Troubled Waters." Her book cover design was recently released (I made that!)
In the writing and developmental stage is Marlene Frazier's second book, "Her Perfect Truth," and our historical fiction author, Lisa G. Samia has submitted an entire collection of poems and essays I am formatting with photos for "Never Forgotten, The Nameless and Faceless of the Civil War."
Editing projects for Destiny Rose Editorial are always steady work, making certain I don't get bored. We are seeing numerous return author's sending their second and third books. Very exciting!

To me, feeling inspired to write is like being handed a gift, where someone whispers, "Here, see this moment, this person and their world, feel it. Now go tell the story." Then you must sit and write. That is our job.
Over the years, I have learned to channel those moments when pure inspiration for a story hits, to focus my thoughts, see the scene and people clearer. It takes practice.
But in truth, the spark of creativity is a fire carried inside the heart of every writer, the gift of story-telling and imagination that makes us experience life not just through our own eyes, but on a different aspect from others. We don't just live life, we feel the potential for alternate scenarios that come from the ordinary world. It is a tiny flicker inside, always waiting for life to breathe ideas across the flame.

I have been on a reading "binge" lately beginning with all of the books by Dannika Dark (loved all of 20 of them, especially the Mageri Series!) and now I am hooked on the Elemental Series by Shannon Mayer. I am on "Ash" right now and have only one more in the series, "Destroyer." Then I believe I will begin Shannon's other series with Rylee Adamson. It looks like a paranormal summer, so far!

My book coming in Sept, "Beautiful Lies" began five years ago as a large novel that involves a woman who can see the future through her paintings. I love all things paranormal, especially gifted abilites. Writing about Jade Gianno has been a work of love.
