Margaret Addison I find doing something else, totally unrelated, really helps. For me, getting into the fresh air and taking my dog for a long walk works well.
Margaret Addison Determining your own hours, although it can be the worst thing as well as you have to be self-disciplined!
Margaret Addison Write whenever you have a free half hour or hour and, if possible, set aside a particular time to write. Above all, just keep going and try not to become distracted by other things. Having said that, I think it is important that you set yourself realistic targets so that you don't become discouraged.
Margaret Addison I am currently researching and writing the ninth book in my Rose Simpson series, "Murder at the Masquerade Ball". I am fascinated by masked balls and am also very excited as the action of this book will take place at the Belvederes' London house, a location that has not appeared in any of my books before.
Margaret Addison I have visited the beautiful Greek island of Skiathos a number of times and thought it would be the perfect setting for a Rose Simpson adventure. Prior to "Murder on Skiathos", all my Rose Simpson books had been set in England and I thought it would be a nice change to have one set abroad.
