Carl Purdon For months I had been traveling the Natchez Trace Parkway between Tupelo, MS and Nashville, TN (day job), and there was this road sign that always caught my eye. It was a small dirt road called Watter Pig, and each time I would see it I would mis-remember it as Walter Pig. One day coming home I saw the sign and the character for Walter Pigg popped into my head and within ten seconds I could see his face and I knew him.
Carl Purdon I've always been inspired by creative people. Art inspires art, I suppose. Reading a good book, watching a good movie, hearing a good song. Sometimes it's as simple as overhearing a pinch of conversation while walking down the aisle at Walmart then trying to imagine all the parts I didn't hear.
