Grabbing on to an idea and recording it, however you might do that, is the most important thing. I love being in front of my laptop when inspiration strikes, but it doesn't always work out like that. I have conversations with my friends and family about writing ideas, which helps inspire me to pursue those stories.

My next novel is a sci-fi/fantasy romance entitled Forged by Fire. It's an enemies to lovers set against the backdrop of a galactic civil war. I am excited about it!

The best thing to do is to realize that writer's block is real and it is formidable. I recognize it for what it is and I do not try to write through it. I give myself grace and simply take a break until I am inspired again.
